Although I usually gravitate towards a powder blush, there is always a time and place for a cream blush.

Released earlier this year, Pixi introduced the On-The-Glow Blush (C$24), which is a cream stick blush that contains ingredients that nourish the skin.  Available in three shades, Juicy (peach), Fleur (pink), and Ruby (fuchsia), these blushes are formulated with ginseng, aloe vera, and mix of fruit extracts to condition and hydrate skin.

Now the really cool thing about these is the fact that you can use them on both the cheeks and lips.  All you need is one sweep for a beautiful colour and the colour range is great for practically all skin tones.

I love the fact that these include antioxidants so they have amazing skincare benefits to them while you are wearing them. They are also a vegan formula and not tested on animals, which is always a huge win in my books.

Now I love a good multi-use product and I think these are one of my favourite Pixi makeup products since I love the packaging on them and the fact that the colours are extremely wearable.  The one I’m wearing in the photo is Fleur, which is my favourite shade since I usually wear a pretty pink like this on both my cheeks and lips (I’m just wearing it on my cheeks in the photo though).

These are a pricier blush, but I think that you will get tons of wear out of these since you only need a little bit to go a long way.  You can find these at drugstores like Shoppers Drug Mart and although I love the shade range I’ll be interested to see if they release any more colours in the future.
