Long & strong: Revive7 Revitalizing Serum Mascara

If you haven’t tried an eyelash serum yet, this is your sign.

You guys know I absolutely love LASHFOOD, an eyelash growing serum that I have been using a few years now and have seen great results from.  As much as I loved the look of eyelash extensions, they just don’t work for my lifestyle and not to mention, they are incredibly expensive. As a result, I have been getting a lash lift and tint, which is a procedure I have been loving.

I recently got one done at BB Artistry here in Winnipeg and picked up the Revive7 Revitalizing Lash & Brow Serum (C$90), which is a lash and brow serum that increases overall lash health and volume.  With regular everyday use (you apply it along the lash line morning and night), you will notice fuller, thicker and stronger lashes within a few weeks. Like LASHFOOD, this serum is also vegan and cruelty-free and made with seven clean and natural ingredients.

I’ve always wanted to try Revive7, so I was so excited to get it and I also got their Revive7 Revitalizing Serum Mascara (C$65), which includes the serum in the formula.

The mascara nourishes and strengthens lashes while also making them look more fuller, longer, and noticeable. The formula is vegetarian (it has beeswax in it) and cruelty-free and also includes natural ingredients.  I love the idea of having a mascara with the serum and think this is something that would pair beautifully with a lash lift and tint since your lashes already look long and curled.

This mascara features an oval-shaped brush, which allows you to push lashes up.  Truthfully, I didn’t think this mascara was anything special for the mascara portion, but I love the fact that it has the serum in it.  Plus, I have a lash lift, so my lashes are already lifted, as a result, this just coats them making them look more noticeable and fuller.  If you have a lash lift, or get them regularly, then I recommend picking this mascara up for the serum in it alone.

This mascara is on the pricier side, but if you are looking to grow your lashes and you use mascara regularly then I would definitely pick this up. Although I’m sure it doesn’t work as well as their original serum, this is a more affordable alternative to the serum alone, plus it adds a little bit of drama to the lashes.
