FAQ
Here’s a little more info about me!
What is your skincare routine?
In the morning’s I have currently been using Philosophy’s Purity Cleanser, Clinique Toner, Benefit It’s Potent! eye cream, and Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. At night, it’s usually the same routine but I use my Clarisonic Mia with the Purity cleanser. Occasionally, I will swap out the Purity cleanser for a Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil if I have a full face of makeup (and too lazy to use a makeup remover).
I have been religiously using Clinique’s Three-Step system since I was 16 and haven’t really strayed since then. I highly recommend the skin care regimen as it can be quite pricey but it leaves you with nice skin. There is a reason that one bottle of the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is sold every 10 seconds.
How do you curl your hair?
I have five different curlers, but before you judge and call me a hoarder, they are all different. For a clipless curler, I love Sultra The Bombshell One-Inch Curling Wand; for a standard curling iron, I use Hot Tools one-inch curling iron (in pink, obviously 🙂 ); and I also have Verge by One Styling S-Curler for old-school S-waves and the Bubble Wand – or as my friends and I like to call it, the anal beads – for the imperfect curl. I also have the Rowenta Curl Active on lazy days (it has an automatic barrel that turns at the press of a button).
I go through phases with my curling irons, but when I want to do my curls quick, I usually just reach for my traditional Hot Tools curler.
Prior to curling, I spray a heat protectant, I have been rotating between the Moroccan Oil one and another one by Kenneth Bernard, a Chatters brand.
What kind of dog is Ziggy?
Ziggy is a standard American Eskimo dog. My parent’s dog Chase (who is also featured on my blog) is a miniature American Eskimo (he is quite small so I’m thinking he was the runt of the litter).

What camera and computer do you use and how do you edit photos?
I have a MacBook Pro (13 inch) and a Nikon D3000. I just use the lens that came with the camera. To edit photos I use Adobe Photoshop CS4. I don’t do a lot of editing on my photos, I mostly just adjust the lighting and add a watermark. I will occasionally use the spot healing brush to get rid of some flaws (I do this rarely).
