It’s finally here: Tula skincare lands at Sephora Canada

Okay so if you have been a reader of my blog for a while, you know I live and breathe Tula products.

As you guys may know, I’m based here in Canada and when I first found out at Tula they were still shipping to the country here so a lot of the people I know placed orders and got hooked on the stuff.  Shortly after though they pulled out of Canada and every time I get a new Tula product I always feel so bad sharing it with my Canadian followers since they weren’t able to order it off the Tula site.

Well, Canadian friends, you’re now in luck!

As of last month, Tula has launched on Sephora Canada, both in store and online.  Although they don’t have the full range of products, there is still an abundance of Tula goodies, enough for you to really try out the line and get a great routine.

Now I consider myself a Tula connoisseur and the brand has let me try most, if not all, they items, so I really have gotten a rounded out approach on what they offer.  In fact, if you are looking for a specific Tula product, try searching on my blog for it and you’ll probably find a review.  If you haven’t tried Tula but are dying to now that it’s available in Canada, then don’t worry, I got you.

Here are the must-have items you need to try from Tula.

Tula Skincare Cult Classic Purifying Cleanser

Tula Purifying Cleanser

When it comes to my favourite cleansers, Tula’s Purifying Cleanser is high on the list.

Tula’s Purifying Cleanser (C$36) is a refreshing probiotic cleanser that cleans your skin deep into the pores to remove impurities and condition skin.  It’s perfect for all skin types and I love using it with my FOREO Luna or Clarisonic for an even deeper clean.

The star ingredients in this cleanser are lactic acid to naturally clean and exfoliate the skin; chicory root, which is a natural anti-inflammatory prebiotic to help boost the appearance of firmer skin; turmeric root, which helps reduce the signs of inflammation; blueberries, which help protect skin from free-radical attacks; and probiotics to hydrate and lock in moisture.

If you are looking for a new cleanser, I highly recommend this one.  It’s such a star product in their line and there’s a reason why it’s a cult classic.

Tula Get Toned Pro-Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner

After your cleanser you should use a toner and a great one to try is the Get Toned Pro-Glycolic 10% pH Resurfacing Gel (C$55).

This toner is alcohol-free and perfect for all skin types. It uses probiotics, glycolic acid, and beetroot extract to gently exfoliate skin, leaving it smooth, hydrated and even.  The pro-glycolic complex is a proprietary blend of 100 per cent natural lactobacillus probiotics and glycolic acid to help tone and exfoliate the skin. It also removes excess oil and debris.

The formula is a gel so it might be a little different from other toners you’ve used (I typically go with ones that are a watery texture). This one is suitable to use both morning and night and will prep your face for the rest of your routine.

Tula Rose Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm

Could this be a Tula post without mentioning their iconic Rose Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm?

The Rose Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm (C$39) is an eye balm that you apply directly to the skin for an instant burst of hydrating and cooling.  This eye balm was released in fall 2019 and came after the original Glow & Get It Eye Balm (also available at Sephora). This pink version of the original bestseller contains the same probiotics and superfoods as the blue version, plus more amazing ones thrown in.  This version contains rosehip oil, which is a plant-based retinol alternative, and hydrating rosewater, leaving your face feeling energized and glowing.

The other ingredients are of course caffeine, aloe, blueberry, and hyaluronic acid, which leaves your undereyes looking fresh, moisturized, and awake.

So which version is right for you? I love that this one, for a few dollars more ($39 for Rose Glow versus $37 for the OG) I would go for this one since it has added retinol (well technically not retinol, but a natural alternative). Honestly though, both formulas are amazing and you can’t really go wrong with either.

Tula 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream

24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream

Lastly, perhaps my favourite Tula item, the 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream (C$69) is an absolute must.

This moisturizer is lightweight and non-greasy and hydrates skin, as well as revives the appearance of dull and tired skin.  Use it day and night for a more glowing and hydrated look. Also, over time it will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as reduce dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.

I cannot recommend this cream enough. Every time I have a skin issue I pull it out and my skin feels back to normal after a few days of using it.  The formula includes probiotic extracts to soothe skin, as well as prebiotics, such as chicory root, to maintain skin balance, and peptides to visibly firm and even the look of skin tone.

It also features squalene to nourish skin, and apple and watermelon to hydrate and smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Do yourself a favour and just add it to your cart now. Your skin will thank you.

Of course, Tula has tons of other products available through Sephora as well, such as serums, primers, scrubs, and more.  Unfortunately they don’t have the sunscreens available yet (probably something to do with Health Canada I’m assuming), but I’m hoping they will start to carry it soon, it ranks highly on my list of favourite Tula products.

If you are still unsure on some of these products, or others, they do have the value packs where you can try out deluxe minis of some of Tula’s best-selling items. For instance, they do have the On the Go Best Sellers Travel Kit (C$69), which includes minis of the Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser,  So Polished Exfoliating Sugar Scrub, 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream, and Brightening Treatment Drops Triple Vitamin C Serum.  I have this kit as well and keep it in my gym bag since it’s so handy to travel around with.

If you order anything Tula from Sephora, I would love to know what you’re trying out.  If you are based in the U.S., don’t forget, you can use code SHAYNA for 15% off your Tula.com order!
