The countdown is on folks.
With the holidays just a few days away, if you haven’t started your shopping yet, I would recommend getting on it ASAP.
I’ve shared a lot of different makeup ideas on here already and although a lot of them probably aren’t the best picks for the middle of a pandemic (lipgloss and masks don’t go the best together…), if you are looking for some makeup that will actually be put to great use, then I have a couple sets from Fenty Beauty that are not only affordable, but they will be super handy this season as well.
For the eyes, take a look at Fenty’s Full Snap Eyeshadow + Mini mascara set (C$39), which includes a limited-edition eyeshadow Snap palette with a travel-sized Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara.
This set is really awesome since it’s a $50 value and you get a full-size of one of her eyeshadow palettes (I’ve reviewed these before and they are really awesome). Since this is a limited-edition palette, it is special for the holidays and features a variety of matte and shimmer shades that will give you tons of different holiday looks. You have a purple chrome, a gold glitter, a red metallic, a grey-pink matte, a peach matte, and a mauve-brown matte.
To pair with your new shadow palette, use the deluxe size of her Full Frontal Volume, Lift, and Curl Mascara, which has a unique brush that is designed to push up the lashes for a sky-high effect. These two paired together will give you the prettiest eye look, which, since we have to wear masks anyways, at least your eyes can sparkle and shine this season.
For the lips, her Two Lil Stunnas Mini Longwear Fluid Lip Colour Duo (C$33) is the perfect set since these lipsticks are matte liquid ones that make them totally mask friendly.
Open up the packaging to reveal two of her matte liquid lipsticks in the shades Unmatched (a deep cool red) and Underrated (a deep berry). I love these lipsticks and use them often since the brush hugs the curve of your lips (making them super simple to apply), and they dry down completely, meaning it doesn’t give you a tacky feeling at all.
Although they are mini sizes, these will last you a long time and the colours are super holiday appropriate and really bold, meaning that you can do so many easy and quick makeup looks with these.
Both of these sets would make great stocking stuffers or smaller gifts to give this year. The shadow set is sold out on Sephora online but if you have a store that’s still open near you, I would pop in to see if they still have it.
Fenty also has a variety of other sets available for the holidays as well. Overall, I did find their holiday offerings this year to be smaller than years past, but they would all make for great stocking stuffers. Fenty is one of those brands that for the most part, I have consistently really enjoyed and all of these items are some favourites of mine as well.
Are any sets from Fenty on your wish list?
Please note, I received this product from PR. All opinions are my own.
