My hair has been long for years now.
When it comes to making an appointment to go to the salon, I’m super spontaneous. One day I’ll just wake up, look at my hair and decide that I need it coloured or cut. From there, I’ll try to book the soonest appointment I can possibly get.
With that being said, although I’ve been loving my long hair for years (usually when I get a cut it’s just to get rid of the dead ends), I have had my moments where I have cut it super short. Once it’s lopped off though, I usually get the urge to grow it back fast.
If you find yourself in a similar predicament, then you may want to look at Marc Anthony Haircare’s newest product.
The Strengthening Grow Long Super Fast Miracle Treatment is a leave-in conditioner that acts as a concentrated weekly deep treatment to rebuild brittle, weak hair. This formula reinforces hair fibres to regain strength and elasticity to help you achieve stronger, longer hair. Simply apply the product root to tip after shampooing, then leave on for one to three minutes before rinsing.
As someone who loves using a deep conditioner once a week, the first thing you’ll notice about this product is how tiny it is. The whole jar literally fits in the palm of my hand, making it perfect to travel with, but not so great for multiple uses. I thought this would be a one-time use kind of deal, but I’ve managed to get two uses out of it. Considering though that this retails for C$3.57 at Walmart, you aren’t breaking the bank to pick it up, but still may want to invest in something that will last you longer than two uses.
I did try this product out and although it is a little early to tell if my hair will grow longer, I did find that it made my locks look shiny and healthy, and really, anything that promotes luxurious hair, I’m down for.
Marc Anthony also offers another formula for curly hair, the Strictly Curls Perfect Curl Miracle Treatment, which does the same thing, but helps with smoothing and defrizzing extra-dry, damaged, frizzy curls. Leave this in your hair for the same amount of time after your shampoo for more curl control and easier styling thanks to shea butter, soybean oil, and vitamin E in the formula.
I’ve only tried the long hair one since my hair is naturally straight, but was impressed with how well it performed. Also, although the packaging is small, I really like how handy this is. I travel a lot and am always on the lookout for travel-sized products. I don’t tend to wash my hair that often (especially on vacation), so this itty-bitty size is perfect for my makeup bag.
If you’re looking for better bang for your buck, I would look elsewhere. I’m not sure why the brand would have created this product in such a small size, but like I said, I don’t mind it. To each their own I guess ;).
Whats your favourite deep-conditioning treatment?
