Blondes have more fun: Klorane Chamomile lightening hair products

You know, I have to admit it: blondes have more fun.

At least for me, that is.

I’ve been going back and forth between blonde and brunette since I was basically 12 years old. Even though I’m happy with my current ombre, when I look at photos of me as a blonde, I get the itch to dive in all over again. What’s holding me back? Time.

Not only do I not want to sit in a chair for four hours (I have pretty thick hair, and it’s long), but finding the time to make an appointment is also a challenge since I have a pretty full schedule. Enter, highlight-enhancing hair products.

When I heard about Klorane’s chamomile hair products for blonde to light-brown hair, I knew I would totally dig it. Available in a shampoo, conditioner, and sun-lightening spray, this line uses chamomile to enhance blonde highlights, whether your colour is natural, highlighted, or colour-treated.

Apparently this line has been around for awhile, but since I’ve been meaning to go blonder I was super excited to try it out. I received the shampoo and conditioner, as well as the Sun Lightening Spray with Chamomile and Honey and was excited to put it to the test.

I talked about the Klorane Sun Lightening Spray with Chamomile and Honey – Blond Hair , 4.22 fl. oz. last week, but you use this on damp hair (preferably after the shampoo and conditioner from the same line) and the idea is that it will gradually brighten and lighten hair without bleaching agents, such as hydrogen peroxide.

I’ve used all three products a while now (and even took the sun lightening spray travelling earlier this week) and I’ve actually found that the blonde in my hair looks brighter. The Klorane Blond Radiance and Intensity Shampoo with Chamomile 400ml/13.4oz and Klorane Brightening and Detangling Conditioner with Chamomile 150ml/5.16oz doesn’t really lather up that well (the shampoo is rather thin, whereas the conditioner is a thick cream), so I was hesitant about how well it would work, but even when my locks are damp, the blonde looks more vibrant.

If you’re looking for a haircare routine to make your blonde blonder, I would look into these, especially the spray, which you can use for an all over or highlighted effect. Even after one wash I noticed that my blonde looked more sun kissed. This doesn’t make your colour more platinum but instead it’s a lot more brighter looking. If you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the sun this season, then I would pick these up and incorporate them in your hair routine.

Have you tried Klorane’s Chamomile hair lightening products?

Please note, I received these products from PR. All opinions are my own.
