Long & strong: CoverGirl Exhibitionist Stretch & Strengthen Mascara
I’ve always had a thing for CoverGirl mascaras.
When it comes to mascaras, the drugstore versions have definitely been killing it over the past few years. Honestly, you don’t need to spend an arm and a leg to get a great mascara. I can think of at least five drugstore versions that are amazing, and they are all under $15.
When it comes to CoverGirl, most of the mascaras I have tried from them have been winners. Because of that, I was very excited to get their newest version, the Exhibitionist Stretch & Strengthen Mascara (C$12.99) in the mail.
This mascara is billed to give you a lash extension effect and features a fortifying formula to nourish lashes. It has peptides, biotin, and Pro-Vitamin B5 to hydrate and protect lashes from breakage while making them appear longer and thicker.
Available in four shades (Very Black, Black, Black Brown, and Very Black Water Resistant), this mascara is also clump free, flake free, smudge free, and promises to last all day.
The wand isn’t anything really special, but I do like how it is long, so I find you get good control over where you are applying the product. It also features wavy bristles to reach and wrap around every lash from root to tip.
Now I did notice a difference when I used this mascara and I did think my lashes looked really nice. I love how dark the formula is (I got Very Black) and thought that it did make my lashes look very noticeable. I also did have a lash lift and tint about three weeks ago though, so most mascaras look nice on my lashes right now, but I can see myself reaching for this mascara often since I like how the formula felt and how it looked on.
