Fresh skin: Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Fenty Beauty is killing it with the new releases lately.

Last week I reviewed the new Gloss Bomb Colour Drip Lip Creams and just when I thought that would be it for Fenty for a while, she drops a new foundation. Well, kind of…

You’ve probably been seeing the new Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint (C$39) all over your feed lately since it’s the brand’s newest face product. This skin tint is aimed to give your skin a blurred-out effect and a light coverage that is buildable.

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint

Available in 25 shades, this skin tint is easy to apply, blends in wonderfully, and evens out the complexion.  It contains a hydrating QuickBlur complex that is perfect for days where you want to wear minimal makeup and will be perfect for the upcoming spring and summer weather (great for the pool or beach).

I received two shades from the line, Shade 4 (light medium with cool undertones) and Shade 6 (light medium with cool neutral undertones).  Although the shade range is smaller than her original foundation (with 40 shades), the idea with this product is that it still suits everyone, but each shade actually groups together colours from her original Pro Filt’r foundation.

You can either apply this with a brush or your fingers, but since I find applying these kinds of products more evenly with a brush, I chose to go that route and found that it blended in really nicely and was very sheer on the skin.  I did a second coat to build up the coverage and thankfully, for the purposes of this review only, I am currently sporting a pimple on the lower half of my face, which was covered up really nicely after two coats. Also, unlike a more traditional foundation, you can’t really see the product on the skin once you blend it out, so it does a nice job of making your skin look very natural and even.

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Fenty also says that this is heat, sweat, and transfer-resistant, and although I could feel it on my face, it didn’t feel heavy at all and I didn’t really notice I was wearing it after a while.

Now the only thing I don’t like about this product is the fact that it doesn’t contain an SPF in the formula. I believe Fenty also released an SPF as part of the Fenty Skin range recently, so maybe they wanted to up-sell on the two products, but typically with a product like this, it would include a sunscreen.  I wear SPF everyday, so it’s not a huge deal, but I did find it odd that she didn’t include it in the formula.

Since I’ve been more of a no-makeup girl lately, I actually really like this product and feel like it will get tons of wear this summer and beyond.  It really is great for everyday wear and if you are the kind of person who likes to go light with their makeup, then I think you’ll really enjoy this. I can tell you right now, it will definitely be seeing a lot of use as we head into the summer months.

Have you picked up the new Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint yet?

Please note, I received this product from PR. All opinions are my own.
