Is there really a thing such as too many eyeliners?
Yeah, I thought not.
I have so many eyeliners in my collection, and for the most part, I only really wear black (and occasionally brown). Now you may think that when it comes to eyeliners, finding the perfect one may be easy. Let me tell you, from personal experience, this is definitely not the case.
When it comes to a pencil liner, you want it to stick, not smudge, and you want pigmented colour that just glides on your lids. You also want a creamy one, but not too creamy that it’ll break as soon as you put it on your skin.
As you can see, I’m very particular with my eyeliners.
A couple weeks ago I chatted about the new Revlon So Fierce mascara, which is actually part of a collection in conjunction with a few eyeliners. The So Fierce! Vinyl Eyeliners come in six colours (black, brown, charcoal, black violet, burgundy, and cobalt) and are waterproof and have a gel formula. Although they are a pencil liner, I love how Revlon created these with the gel consistency to deliver pigmented and creamy colour that just glides on the lids.
One swipe is all you need for intense colour payoff, and best of all, they are waterproof and smudge-proof without being hard to remove. I typically shy away from waterproof products since they can be notoriously tough to take off, but these wipe away quite easily with makeup remover.
Revlon says you can wear them up to 16 hours. I felt that they did stick on quite well, but just like any other makeup product that promises a long wear, they will start to fade by the end of the day. Nothing too noticeable though and for the most part, I was very impressed by the wearability of these.
If you are looking for a new pencil liner, I would definitely give these a shot. Best of all, since it’s Revlon, you can find these for under $10! Now the next question is, what colour should you get?
What’s your favourite pencil liner?
Please note, product provide by PR. All opinions are my own.
