Fresh from Essie’s new Mirror Metallic collection, Penny Talk is a “statement-making incandescent copper”, however, to me it’s more of a rose gold.
Rose gold has been super popular lately with everyone and their dog wanting to own or already owning a Michael Kors rose gold watch (I own one, Ziggy doesn’t… yet). Or even, even rose gold piece of jewelry. Anyways, Penny Talk is the perfect hue to jump on the trend bandwagon.
I used two coats of the polish to get an opaque finish, however, one was only probably needed (I used two to make sure it wasn’t streaky). The formulation dries quickly and I finished off the mani with Poshe’s top coat (my new obsession).
This colour is really gorgeous in person and it’s no doubt going to be the showstopper of the collection. I have gotten so many compliments on it already and it’s definitely one of those shades that you can either dress up or down, perfect for all occasions.
