One of my all-time favourite beauty products is the IT Cosmetics CC Cream.

Now this CC cream comes in a ton of different formulas now, but to me, all of them are winners.  This CC cream gives you amazing coverage, skincare benefits, sun protection, and so much more.  Although there are different formulas in the line, I usually gravitate towards either the original or the matte one.

Well, now there’s a new version in the line which has quickly started to steal my heart too…

The IT Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow Lightweight Foundation + Glow Serum with SPF 40 and Niacinamide (C$53) is a colour-correcting, medium-coverage skin tint that protects skin from the sun thanks to SPF 40 and also brightens skin, leaving you with a visibly healthy glow.

This CC cream comes in a staggering 22 shades (so many more than what IT Cosmetics originally offered when they first launched the original version of this product so many years ago).  Ideal for all sorts of skin types, this CC cream will give you a medium coverage and a radiant complexion.

As the name suggests, the thing that makes this version different from the others is the Niacinamide, which helps to visibly brighten skin, smooths skin texture, and reduces the look of dark spots and large pores.  It also has hyaluronic acid to brighten, plump, and hydrate skin, as well as green tea extract to protect skin against environmental aggressors.

This CC cream also has a 90 per cent skincare base, meaning it will nourish skin as you wear it.  Although it is a medium coverage, you can build it up for coverage that will leave your skin looking flawless.

So how does this compare to the other formulas?  I would say it’s closest to the original version, however, it’s not as heavy on the skin.  If you find the OG to be too heavy then I think you’ll really love this version. Since it has the SPF in it, I think that this is the perfect companion to your summer beach or pool day since it gives skin a flawless glow and will protect it all at the same time.
