Fresh + clean: Three products to try from Boscia this winter

One beauty brand I have been curious about has been Boscia.

I’ve gotten a few items from the line over the years and I feel like they always come at a time when I’m using other things so I haven’t really gotten a full feel for the brand (other than their peel-off masks, those are amazing).

Boscia is a clean beauty brand that you can find at Sephora. Its products are made from ingredients that are rooted in nature and it contains a vegan formula that is also cruelty free and preservative free as well.

Recently they sent me some skincare staples to try out and I was over the moon to receive them since they are all items that I can see myself incorporating into my daily routine. From a new serum, a new mist, to a moisturizer, here are the items you need to try from Boscia.

Boscia Chia Seed Moisture Cream

Chia Seed Moisture Cream

If you have dry skin (who doesn’t right now?), then take a look at the Chia Seed Moisture Cream (C$50), which is a moisturizer that is aimed to restore and repair, as well as add hydration to dry skin. This cream is enriched with phytonutrients and omega fatty acids that come from chia seed oil and Swiss glacier water.

The chia seed is great for adding hydration into skin by reducing trans-epidermal water look and preventing moisture loss. It also helps with future dehydration and is very soothing. The glacier water penetrates into skin resulting in a deep and longer-lasting hydration. It also helps keep skin smooth and comfortable all day long.

You can use this cream morning and night. It comes with a spatula to keep everything nice and clean. I would recommend picking this up if you are experiencing the drying effects of winter weather right now or if you suffer from dry skin regularly.

Boscia Rosewater Mist with Witch Hazel

Rosewater Mist with Witch Hazel

This is the product I’m most excited about since I’m a sucker for facial sprays.

The Rosewater Mist with Witch Hazel (C$32) is a refreshing and alcohol-free hydrating toner mist that you can use either as a toner or for on-the-go freshness.

Spray it on for a dewy and healthy-looking complexion. It also helps with absorbing excess oil, tightens pores, and soothes skin for a glowing and radiant complexion.

As the name suggests, the formula contains rosewater which works to hydrate, revitalize and moisturize skin. It also helps to maintain skin’s natural pH balance and cleanses and tightens pores. The witch hazel cleanses and tones skin without stripping it of natural moisture. It also helps to combat excess oil while sealing in moisture. If you suffer from redness or irritation, this will also help with that as well. Finally, the formula also has aloe vera in it, which moisturizes skin and soothes and calms redness, inflammation, and irritation. This is a great spray to have on you for basically any situation but it will come in handy for summer as well for those days where you get too much sun.

Boscia Vitamin B12 Hydration Booster Serum

Vitamin B12 Hydration Booster Serum

Finally, if you are looking for a great serum then take a look at the Vitamin B12 Hydration Booster Serum (C$60). This serum deeply nourishes, hydrates, and rejuvenates skin thanks to its unique formula. It has a 70 per cent oil to 30 per cent water formula that repairs skin and replenishes moisture.

Make sure you shake this before applying it to combine the oil and water and use morning and evening for the best effects. The formula has Vitamin B12 in it, which promotes skin’s health and aids in boosting circulation for glowing skin. It also has squalene, which replenishes moisture and reduces skin inflammation and helps to protect against free radicals and premature aging. It also has apricot kernel, sweet almond, and jojoba seed oil to give long-lasting hydration and retain moisture.

These are just three products in their arsenal of items. Definitely take a look at their offerings next time you’re in The Bay. I look forward to using these goodies as we finish up the winter months and head into the more warmer ones.
