All blondes welcome: Amika’s Bust Your Brass collection for blonde hair

When it comes to hair, the one product I’ve been chatting a lot about lately has definitely been blonde haircare.

I have been blonde for years and years now and although I did got a touch darker this summer, I still have some blonde highlights in my hair.  I only really wash my hair twice a week and at least once I will use a blonde shampoo and conditioner, whether that be a purple shampoo or a product specially formulated for blonde hair.

I’ve recently gotten into Amika haircare, which is a professional hair care line that is cruelty-free, clean, and green. They recently reformulated their Bust Your Brass collection, now with their Bond Cure Technology, which helps to target hydrogen bonds. The formula is also clinically proven to repair and strengthen hair and prevent future damage.

Included in the line is an Intense Repair Mask, and the new and improved Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Repair Shampoo and Conditioner.

Amika Bust Your Brass Repair Shampoo

The Bust Your Brass Repair Shampoo (C$26.50) is a purple shampoo that helps to tone brassy blondes, while also repairing, hydrating, and strengthening your hair.  Ideal for all hair types, this shampoo is great for dull hair, as well as dryness, split ends, and damage-prone hair. Aside from the brand’s Bond Cure Technology, it also contains vegan proteins to provide keratin-like benefits, and ultra-violet pigments to counteract yellow and brassy tones.

Follow up with the Bust Your Brass Purple Conditioner (C$32), which is a purple conditioner that tones brassy blonde hair and repairs hair while also strengthening and hydrating.

The conditioner also contains the same star ingredients as the shampoo and will help with repairing hair and leaving your locks with less breakage and a brighter blonde shade.

Now if you need a little extra TLC, take a look at their Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Purple Intense Repair Hair Mask (C$55), which is a moisturizing and toning mask that results in brighter, healthier hair that is eight-times more conditioned and two-times stronger.

Ideal for all hair types, this is great to use once a week and will help with extra TLC towards dry hair, as well as damage, split ends, and brassiness. It also contains the brand’s Bond Cure Technology, as well as plant butters, including mango butter extract, borage oil, and shea butter with vitamins, minerals, and five fatty acids. It also has ultra-violet pigments to counteract any yellowness in the hair.

You’ll find after one use, your hair will feel stronger and softer, as well as more vibrant.

I really like this collection since it’s a more prestigious brand (you can find it at Sephora) but compared to its other blonde-targeting counterparts, it’s not as expensive.  This is the second line by Amika I have tried and really like the brand and everything they stand for.  If you have blonde hair and are looking for new range to try, definitely look into picking this up.

Have you tried any Amika products before?

Please note, products sent by PR. All opinions are my honest own.
