Take it all off: CeraVe releases new Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser

When it comes to drugstore cleansers, CeraVe takes the cake.

Out of any drugstore skincare brand, I feel like I hear the most excitement about CeraVe.  Whether it’s their moisturizers, their serums, or their cleansers, people just love their products.

Now if you love the line up of CeraVe cleansers already, then you’ll be excited to hear that they just released a new formula to the collection, the Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser (C$19.99).

Three CeraVe cleansers

Joining their lineup of existing cleansers, this new one is aimed at normal to dry skin and is perfect for removing makeup and cleansing your skin. This cleanser starts off as a cream formula and then works it way into a foaming cleanser to gently and effectively remove makeup, dirt, and oil, all while cleaning your skin. The formula is effective and gentle and contains the brands three essential ceramides to restore the protective skin barrier, as well as MVE delivery technology, which is control released for all-day hydration.  The cleanser also has amino acids and hyaluronic acid to hold water on the skin.

I personally love a foaming cleanser but if you are more of a static cleanser girl, then you can go with their Hydrating Cleanser for normal to dry skin (C$19.99).  This cleanser is very similar to the new one but just doesn’t foam up. Both of these leave skin feeling clean and refreshed and ready for the rest of your routine.

CeraVe Cleansers

Now, for those who have oily skin, the best route for you is the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for normal to oily skin (C$19.99 but often on sale)  This cleanser is a gel formula which lathers into a form to deep clean and remove any excess oil without drying out or stripping the skin. It contains the brand’s three essential ceramides, Vitamin B3 (also known as niacinamide), and hyaluronic acid to moisturize.

No matter which kind of skin you have, there is a CeraVe cleanser for you, and trust me, this product is definitely worth the hype. I know so many people who swear by this cleanser, and since it’s a drugstore product, you can pick it up pretty much everywhere and it’s super affordable. The only trouble you’ll have with it is finding it since it often sells out!
