For her: Mother’s Day gift ideas from L’Occitane En Provence
Anyone else feel like Mother’s Day has just creeped up on us this year?
I’m in Montreal for the summer so I made sure to give my mom an early Mother’s Day gift this year before I left, however, she might also be receiving some bath and body items from L’Occitane soon in the mail (wink, wink).
When it comes to giving gifts, you can never go wrong with bath and body items and the best part about this gift category is that it comes in all different price points. One of my favourite brands is L’Occitane En Provence since it’s in the mid-range in terms of cost, but the items are extremely luxurious (plus it’s French. Who doesn’t love French skincare?).
You still have two days left, but if you are completely stumped on what to get the mom or the mother figure in your life, then I have some great suggestions.
Neroli Discovery Set
A gift set is always a good idea and the Neroli Discovery Set (C$29) is a great one.
This set includes three products in their Neroli & Orchidee scent, which is a clean and delicate fragrance. Open up the pretty floral pink box to reveal a 7.5ml of the eau de toilette, a 30ml hand cream, and a 50ml body milk.
I love this set since it’s all products that come in handy and I think that mom would use. You can never have enough on-the-go hand creams (especially with all the hand washing and sanitizing we do), and the body milk and eau de toilette are perfect for travel as well. Best part is that it comes in the most giftable box. This one screams Mother’s Day!
Rose Hand Cream Trio
I don’t know about you but I like to keep a hand cream on me at all times now. I have one in my purse, my bedside table, on my desk.. the list goes on and on.
If your mom is like me then she’ll love the L’Occitane Rose Hand Cream Trio (C$29), which is a tin filled with three travel-sized hand creams.
Open up the beautiful pink and red tin to discover three 30ml sizes of their various rose scents. There’s Rose Burst of Relaxation, Rose Burst of Cheerfulness, and Rose Burst of Vitality.
I think this is such a great gift idea since hand cream always comes in handy and it’s a nice alternative to giving your mom a bouquet of roses. I love getting flowers but hate how they only last a couple weeks. This is a nice play on gifting your mom roses and she’ll get way more use out of it.
Delicious Lip Oil
So just like hand creams, I have to have a lip balm on me at all times. Lip balm is also a great generic gift idea or a great add on to another gift.
Take a look at L’Occitane’s Delicious Lip Oil (C$24), which comes in two light shades, and coats lips in nourishment while providing a slight shine.
These lip oils give your lips six hours of moisture and is formulated without silicone. The formula contains Vitamin E (for antioxidants), carrot vegetable oil (for softening), and corsican pomelo (for instant exfoliation).
Although there are two colours to choose from, the payoff on them is very minimal, making both shades quite universal. Mom can wear it alone or over her favourite lipstick.
L’Occitane Shea Milk Extra-Gentle Soap
Finally, one of their most iconic products is the most universal.
The Shea Milk Extra-Gentle Soap (C$9) is another great add-on gift since who doesn’t need a bar of soap?
This soap has a new and improved formula and is made the old-fashioned way using a traditional cauldron method. It includes shea extract, which will soften and nourish skin, even the most sensitive types.
I know, this may seem like a boring idea to gift, but trust me, I use this in so many ways. You can use it for hands, body, or even to clean your makeup brushes (it’s so handy to just swirl a dirty brush on one of these).
This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what L’Occitane has in store for Mother’s Day. It might be too late for shipping but if you have a store local, I would pop in and grab some sets and/or single items to make a gift that mom will love.
What are you getting your mom for Mother’s Day?
Please note, products sent by PR. All opinions are my own.
