Serum savvy: Three serums you need to try from Nature Collection

I’ve tried a lot of Korean beauty products and when it comes to skincare, they are one of top countries I would say who offer the best skincare products.

When I went to Asia a few years ago we had a stopover in South Korea and since we were there for so long, we did a city tour between flights.  I had been familiar with The Face Shop for awhile and although I had known it was from Korea, I didn’t realize that they actually had many stores there (I just thought it was Korean-inspired).

Anyways, ever since then I have gotten this newfound connection to The Face Shop, which is now known as Nature Collection, and has a ton of different skincare lines under its umbrella, including Dr.Belmeur, Isa Knox, CNP, Sooryehan and Beyond.

Although we are at the tail end of summer here, I recently received a box of goodies from the brand to try out and I couldn’t wait to dig in.  They sent over a variety of different moisturizers, serums, body products, etc., and since I love trying out new skincare I wanted to highlight some products that I’m the most excited to try.

I love using serums in my routine, sometimes even multiple ones a night, so if you are on the hunt for a new one, then keep reading…

Dr. Belmeur Cica Peptide Ampoule and CNP Laboratory Propolis Energy Serum

Dr. Belmeur Cica Peptide Ampoule

If your skin is looking and feeling tired, then give it a jolt of energy with the Dr. Belmeur Cica Peptide Ampoule (C$65).

This serum is filled with plant-based ingredients that have similar components to our skin. The line is designed to hydrate dry skin and is ideal for those who have sensitive, problem skin, as well as those looking for anti-aging products.

Included in the product is Centella asiatica and a peptide complex that wakes up tired skin, creates a smoother surface, and helps to strengthen the skin barrier, leaving you with firmer and toned skin.

Add a few drops to your skin before your moisturizer and apply morning and night for the best results.

CNP Laboratory Propolis Energy Serum

CNP is a line that is brand-new to me and stands for Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals. It was developed in conjunction with dermatologists to provide clients with the perfect skincare protocol after cosmetic procedures.

This line is for those looking to restore and revitalize skin’s appearance and those who have normal to dry skin that is dull and tired. It is also fine for sensitive skin as well.

The CNP Propolis Energy Serum (C$38) is a serum that helps to improve dry, flaky, tired, dull skin by providing nourishment, moisture and soothing for your face. The star ingredient is propolis, which is extracted from hives and is known for its antioxidant properties and its ability to hydrate the skin, while improving firmness and a healthy glow.

This serum also includes hyaluronic acid for hydration and moisture, and CNP’s Anti-Irritant Complex to address sensitivities caused by external irritants.

CNP Invisible Peeling Booster

CNP Invisible Peeling Booster

Okay, so this one isn’t a serum but instead a peel that that gently removes dead skin cells while also hydrating the skin.

The CNP Invisible Peeling Booster (C$45) does not need to be removed after application and is a low-irritant peel that is suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive skin. It contains polyhydroxy acids to remove skin cells and Allantoin to soothe. It also has a natural moisturization factor complex to maintain the skin’s moisture level by hydrating and preventing the evaporation of water from the skin.

This product helps to provide a variety of benefits to the skin in as little as seven days. Those benefits include effectively removing impurities from the skin, soothing irritation, improve clarity, increase hydration, control natural oil, brighten skin tone, and improve skin texture.

Nature Collection also sent over a ton of other products which I can’t wait to dig into, so stay tuned for future information on what their spring/summer 2020 releases includes.
