The secret weapon: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream

title

I have been hearing tons of great things about It Cosmetics’ Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream so I had to get my hands on it to give it a try.

This cream  (read: not foundation), suspends red-cancelling and colour-correcting pigments into an ultra-hydrating velvety nude cream that leaves you with a flawless complexion.  This cream erases red-toned skin discolourations from rosacea, broken capillaries, blemished skin, irritated skin, sun damage, scars and more.  The formula also soothes inflamed and irritated skin and contains colloidal oatmeal, aloe, avocado, and chamomile.

Now unlike most colour correctors, this stuff is nude rather than green or yellow. Although it’s not billed as a foundation, you can totally use this over your moisturizer to cover any redness you may have.

This 0.37 fl. oz. cream comes with a silver stand and mini kabuki brush which is the perfect complement to buff this into your skin.  Although the jar may not be big, you only need a little bit of the product to cover your whole face.

I personally don’t have really bad red skin (just in some areas), so for the purpose of photos for this review I grabbed my resident bestie and PIC Jessica for the photos.

Jess has some redness in her cheeks and a little on the forehead and chin so she was the perfect candidate to try out this product.

As you can see, after we applied the product all over her face, the product neutralized the redness leaving her with flawless skin.  At first we did notice some redness, however, as the minutes went on the redness all but disappeared.

Overall, this is a great product if you suffer from broken capillaries or rosacea. Although I personally think it’s more of a foundation than a cream, this stuff can seriously be your secret weapon in ridding redness from your skin.

Bye Bye Redness can be found at QVC for $39.50 (with the brush and stand) or The Shopping Channel in Canada.
