I’ve chatted about the holiday offerings from Burt’s Bees in previous years and they always come out with great affordable sets for the holiday season.

Perfect for your traveller friend, the Burt’s Bees Essential Travel Kit (C$17.99) is filled with travel-sized goodies perfect to keep in your bag or suitcase.
Included in this set are full sizes of the Ultra Conditioning Balm, Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia, a travel-sized pack of the facial cleansing towelettes, and a mini of Milk and Honey Body Lotion, all in a special-edition pouch.
The Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes with White Tea Extract are infused with white tea and cucumber extract to remove makeup and cleanse, all in one step. The cleansing cream removes dirt, excess oil, and makeup, whereas the chamomile and aloe moisturizes for soft skin. Both lip balms condition dry and parched lips, whereas the tinted lip balm gives lips a subtle red colour.

I’ve talked about hand cream being a great gift in a few different posts and this one is no different.
Special for the holidays, Burt’s Bees has come out with their Hand Cream Trio (C$14.99), which contains three hand creams in different scents. Whether it’s Lavender & Honey, Orange Blossom & Pistachio, or Rosemary & Lemon, any of these hand creams will surely bring joy to your recipients mood (and hands!).
Burt’s Bees hand cream soften hands with all-day moisture thanks to ingredients like shea butter, baobab oil, and pumpkin seed oil. The formula is 99 per cent natural and the buttery texture glides on skin, leaving it feeling nourished and smelling delish.
Burt’s Bees Mistletoe Kiss Set
Lastly, I couldn’t write a Burt’s Bees post without mentioning a set with their iconic lip balm!
The Mistletoe Kiss Holiday Gift Set is the perfect little stocking stuffer and comes with three lip products for layering over a lipstick or applying by themselves for a hint of colour. These lip balms are great to carry with you everyday and are a 100 per cent natural lip tint which has a smooth texture that glides on the lips. They also have a hint of mint as well that is really pleasant.

With Hanukkah starting yesterday and Christmas tomorrow night, if you’re still looking for some great last-minute gift ideas in the beauty world, then take a look at what Laura Mercier has in store.
In case you aren’t familiar with Laura Mercier, the luxury cosmetic brand can be found in Sephora and department stores and is known for a variety of products. Not only does she have a full makeup line (their foundations are incredible), but she also has a line of bath and body products as well.
If you’re stumped on what to get, there are so many great sets available for a good price. Here are some of my favourites.
Caviar du Jour Caviar Chrome Mini Set
Aside from her foundations, Laura Mercier is also known for her Caviar Sticks.
I got my first ever Caviar Stick years ago when I was in Edmonton (or it may have even been Calgary). I was browsing through the Holt Renfrew beauty department and this gorgeous turquoise colour caught my eye. The Laura Mercier rep insisted I try it over my black cat eye and I instantly bought it. Although it’s been years since I first purchased it, it still remains ultra creamy and smooth.
For the holidays, the brand has come out with a few different sets that revolve around these Caviar Sticks. The Caviar du Jour Caviar Chrome Mini Set (C$51) is a limited-edition collection of four mini Caviar Sticks in a variety of different shades.
In case you aren’t familiar with what this product is, it’s a cream eyeshadow that you can use as a base for your powder look, by itself, as an eyeliner, or even as a highlight (depending on the shade). These glide smoothly on the skin and deliver pigmented colour that is so beautiful.
This particular set has four shades in a chrome finish (Magnetic Pink, Intense Moonlight, Metallic Taupe, and Intense Amethyst), perfect for that holiday metallic eye you’ve been planning this season.
Caviar Duet Eyeshadow & Mascara Set
If you like the idea of the Caviar Sticks but only need a neutral colour, then take a look at the Caviar Duet Eyeshadow & Mascara Set (C$50).

The Make It Glow Setting Powder & Brush Set (C$51) contains a full size of her iconic setting powder, as well as a special curved brush to help apply it with.
This set is available in two shades, translucent and medium/deep, and is a lightweight powder that gives a natural glow and helps set and extend the wear time of your foundation. I love baking with it and have definitely found that it’s a softer powder that glides on the skin and absorbs nicely into it.
Limited-edition Translucent Setting Powder
If you’re already a huge fan of her Translucent Setting Powder and are looking for something really special, then take a look at the limited-edition Translucent Setting Powder (C$48).
Released just for the holidays, this is the same version of her cult-classic, but in a special-edition packaging. This powder sets makeup for a 12-hour matte, weightless wear. Like the glow version, this one is the same formula but mattifies the face. This is also perfect for photoshoots as it won’t make your face look white and it subtly blurs the look of fine lines and imperfections.
You can find this powder in both translucent and medium/deep.
Luxe Ultime Body Butter Duet
Although it may not be one of her cult products, Laura Mercier’s body butters are incredibly divine and have a following of their own.
Every year the brand comes out with some sets that feature these delicious moisturizers and this year is no different. The Luxe Ultime Body Butter Duet (C$71) is a set of two of her body butters in the Almond Coconut Milk and Ambre Vanilla scents.
What really sets these body butters apart is the formula. Not only do they smell delish, but they are enriched with shea butter and Illipe butter to provide intense hydration. There is also grade seed oil and jojoba esters to help condition skin, as well as honey and aloe vera gel to soothe skin.
Très Rich Hand & Body Collection
Finally, if you are looking for a great gift for a boss or teacher (or friend… or really anyone), then take a look at the Tres Rich Hand & Body Collection (C$48).
This collection of four hand creams will definitely come in handy this season. Included in the set are scents Ambre Vanilla, Almond Coconut Milk, Creme Brûlée, and Tarte au Citron. These creams are incredibly decadent and help to nourish hands even after they absorb into the skin.
Laura Mercier also has a ton of other holiday options available this season. You really can’t go wrong with anything from this line and I love how it’s not just makeup items as there are a variety of great bath and body ones to choose from as well.

The soap, candle, fragrance, and lotion retailer is a mainstay for any time I need hand soaps or body wash and is my “dog’s” favourite retailer for buying my mom hand soaps for Hanukkah (AKA I buy them for her from him).
