Feeling cheeky: Revlon cream blushes

Title

So I totally had and OMG moment the first time I tried Revlon’s cream blushes.

A couple of months back, Make Up For Ever released their second-skin HD blushes, which are actually close to being the best cheek product ever created.  Everyone needs at least one in their collection.  The downside is that they are $26 a pop, which for any beauty junkie, one can justify it, but if you aren’t a huge beauty girl, it’s kind of expensive.  Plus, with 15 shades, it can be hard to narrow it down to just one.

Well, lucky for us ladies, Revlon has come out with their own cream blushes.  And yes, you need these too.

colours

Available in four shades, these lightweight, non-greasy cream formulas give you a rich flush of colour, and best of all, I would even say that they are a great dupe for the Make Up For Ever ones.  I received the colours Flushed (a fuchsia pink) and Coral Reef (a coral), both of which I believe were released previously but under Revlon’s PhotoReady line.  You can apply these with your finger, but I like using an angled blush brush that I just dip the product onto and then dab it across my cheek area, and voila! perfectly flushed cheeks.  The best part is that these bad boys blend amazingly and they last all day.

Coral Reef Flushed

If you haven’t tried cream blushes and are scared of what they are like, seriously give these a try.  The colour you get is fab and are so easy to blend and I find they tend to look more natural.  The trick though is to apply a cream product over a cream product.  So use these if you are sporting a cream foundation or BB cream.  Although you certainly can apply these over powder (rules are always meant to be broken), I find it’s a more natural look when applied over cream.

One more thing…
