If it isn’t obvious by now, I really love Charlotte Tilbury products.
I am very fortunate in that I have gotten to try a fair amount of her products (I would say at least 85% of her range). Although there were many hits, I did find some products I didn’t love as much, and others that have quickly become staples in my collection.
If you have always wanted to try some items from her line but don’t know where to start or which to try, then I’m going to throw you a bone here. I have many favourites from her brand, but there are three that really stick out in my mind for being truly stellar.
Here they are…
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Longwear Foundation
The first time I tried Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Longwear Foundation (C$53) it was love at first sight.
The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Longwear Foundation, available in a staggering 44 different shades from light to dark, delivers flawless and poreless-looking skin. The formula is high-coverage and promises to say on all day, feel weightless, and give you a natural matte finish.
This foundation actually goes deeper than just giving you amazing-looking skin. The formula includes skincare ingredients, including Magic REPLEXIUM to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to 22 per cent after eight weeks of use, MossCellTec No. 1 to boost hydration by up to 216 per cent, and AirCool for an instant fresh feel while you wear it.
This foundation applies so flawlessly and really gives you the perfect canvas for the rest of your makeup. I also find it holds up well to sweat and won’t budge even after hours of wear. It hydrates skin, smoothes out the look of your skin, and gives you a radiant glow. Plus, the shade range in here is inclusive for most skin tones, so you’ll definitely find the perfect shade for you.
Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Mascara
Charlotte Tilbury’s Legendary Lashes Volume 2 mascara quickly joined my top five list of favourite mascaras soon after I received it.
Legendary Lashes Volume 2 (C$38) is a the brand’s reformulated version of the original Legendary Lashes mascara that promised volumized lashes in a long-wear, smudge-proof, humidity-resistant formula. The brand also guarantees that it increases the volume of your lashes by 507 per cent after one application (seriously, such a random number).
This mascara is only available in one shade, black, which I love, since let’s be honest, how often are you going to wear another shade? I didn’t try the original formula, but I absolutely love this one and it’s right up there with Too Faced’s BTS, Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes! and Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir. This mascara gives you dark, thick, and long lashes, leaving you with noticeable eyes.
The brush on this mascara is that hourglass shape that I love. One swipe is really all you need, but the more you layer it, the more your lashes will stand out. I wouldn’t say that my lashes look over 500 per cent increased, but it does a phenomenal job at making them look fuller and longer. I would definitely say that this makes my lashes look double.
If you can’t tell already, I absolutely love this mascara and can’t recommend it enough. The brush is so fluffy and really allows you to coat and exaggerate each lash, leaving you with that false lash effect.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillowtalk
Could this be a Charlotte Tilbury post without mentioning her number-one product?
The Matte Revolution lipstick (C$39) is a moisturizing matte formula that smooths and shapes lips. The formula is enriched with nourishing orchid and lipstick tree extracts to soften, protect, and hydrate lips. It also contains 3D glowing pigments to create the illusion of lit-from-within lips, making them appear wider and fuller.
Although this lipstick is available in a wide range of shades, the most popular colour, and one that started a revolution itself, is of course Pillow Talk! This shade is so flattering is a mauve pinky nude that looks so good on most skin tones. This colour is flattering on so many people that they have released different products inspired by the shade, as well as complementary tones so it fits just about any skin tone imaginable.
I have the original lipstick, the lipstick topper, two of the lip liners, both eyeshadow palettes, the blush, and the Vinyl lipstick. It’s one of those colours that goes with pretty much any makeup look and is so versatile that you don’t have to put too much thought into which lipstick to grab.
If you don’t have it yet, I highly recommend picking it up.
I could really go on and on about other Charlotte Tilbury products to try, but since her line is on the pricier side, if you want to grab few items but don’t know where to start, then these are ones I would definitely choose.
What’s your favourite Charlotte Tilbury item?

I’ve been a fan of Moroccanoil’s original famed argan oil for years and definitely notice a difference in my hair texture when I apply it on damp hair. Although the brand started with just argan oil, they have quickly expanded their offerings to include styling products and styling tools. Now the thing that sets the brand apart is the fact that they include their argan oil in most – if not all – their products, so anytime you use their stuff you’re guaranteed to have silky, smooth hair.
I’ve tried a number of their styling products over the years, but when I saw they came out with a purple shampoo for blonde hair, I knew I needed to try it out.
The Moroccanoil Blonde Perfecting Purple Shampoo (C$28) is a sulfate-free, tone-correcting shampoo that is designed to fight brassiness and dullness in blonde and grey hair. Ideal for all hair types and textures, this vibrant purple shampoo neutralizes yellow and orange tones, as well as repairs the hair which nourishing it (no dry locks here!).
The formula includes their ArganID technology, which infuses antioxidant powers of argan oil into the hair while also repairing damage and sealing the cuticle (no split ends here!). It also has violet pigments which enhances your blonde tones and giving you a natural-looking glow.
In terms of purple shampoo, I actually find this one to be reasonably priced for a salon brand. I didn’t notice a huge difference between the Moroccanoil version and the L’Oreal Paris and Joico ones I’m currently also using, but I do like how it has their argan oil in it meaning that your hair will be nice and smooth with regular use.
Pair their purple shampoo with their Weightless Hydrating Mask (C$44), which is an argan-infused mask that is designed for fine, dry hair. With weekly use, this mask will help hydrate dry hair and also improve and texture and manageability.
Apply this mask to towel-dried hair or damp hair (I use it in the shower), comb through, and then leave it on for five to seven minutes. Rinse well and use at least once a week or whenever you need some extra moisture.
This mask is formulated for fine or lighter-coloured hair. I have been enjoying using this during the summer since the sun tends to dry out my hair. The formula contains argan oil (obviously); behentrimonium chloride, which prevents static; shea butter, to sooth and moisturize; as well as hydrolyzed vegetable protein to support hair elasticity and strength.
Finally, once you are out of the shower, use the Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray (C$32). This spray is designed to be used on towel-dried hair and will help to protect your colour against fading and brassiness.
The lightweight spray is ideal for all hair types and textures and helps protect your hair against heat, broken hair and split ends. The formula contains their ArganID to help repair and seal the hair, varisoft to protect hair against breakage and frizz, as ell as heliogenol which prevents residual oxidation of hair colour, meaning no fading or dullness in your colour.
I’ve been using this spray for a few years now and really like it. I find that my colour hasn’t really faded or become brassy and I like how it’s a spray, not a serum, meaning it’s a little cleaner to apply.
Overall I really like these Moroccanoil products and would recommend adding them to your haircare routine this summer. They also sent me one of their Color Depositing Masks, which adds temporary colour to your hair. I’m excited to give that a shot as well since it would be a nice little change and something fun to do this season (since there are so many things we currently can’t do).
If you have blonde or dry hair I do recommend looking into these products. Moroccanoil took their famous argan oil and combined it with styling and haircare products, meaning you’ll have super nourished locks this season.
Have you tried any of Moroccanoil’s styling products?

You guys know I love me some Charlotte Tilbury.
Just like everyone else who has tried it, I’m a big face of the brand’s Magic Cream, however, although I have tried out probably the majority of her beauty products, I haven’t really tried too much from her skincare line.
If you are a fan of their original Magic Cream, but find it to be a little heavy, then you’ll love the Magic Cream Light (C$125). This new formula is perfect for the summer time or hotter climates since it’s lighter on the face but still packs a punch.
This moisturizer is formulated with replexium (for anti-aging), vitamin E, and Citystem (for pollution defense) to deliver up to 24 hours of hydration. It also gives you triple protection against blue light protection (this is always a plus in my books), as well as invisible pollution.
This moisturizer has quickly become my new favourite daytime moisturizer since it’s so light on the skin. It also mattifies and smoothes your skin, meaning it will help against shine. In fact, this moisturizer is suitable for all skin types, including oily skin.
Unlike the original Magic Cream, this is dispensed via a pump, meaning you’ll get the perfect amount every time. I like using this one in the day and then the original formula at night. I will also note though that she does already have a Magic Cream Night version. The original Magic Cream is suitable for both day and night and I do recommend having it on hand for those days where you need little more moisture (maybe for days when you’re out in the sun for too long) or when the weather gets colder.
Pair her new Magic Cream Light with the Magic Eye Rescue (C$65). Using an eye cream day and night is imperative to anti-aging and if you are looking for a new one to try then I think you’ll really love this.
The Magic Eye Rescue helps to combat dark circles for a brighter appearance, as well as brighten, smooth, and reduce the look of winkles. The eye cream is powered by Winter Daphne Stem Cell Extract and saccharide isomerate to hydrate and moisturize, as well as time-released retinol, vitamin C, and a botanical eye complex to reduce the appearance of dark circles.
I really like this eye cream since it glides nicely on the skin and the jar is a little larger than most. I find it really does help with brightening and hydrating the undereye area.
Finally, since my desert island product is a lip balm, when I saw she released a brand-new lip oil, I just had to have it.
The Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir (C$45) is a lip serum that is formulated with magic crystals and potent plant extracts for nourished and full lips. With regular use, your lips will feel and look more smoother and hydrated.
You apply this oil via a roller ball, which as you squeeze the tube, it dispenses the product on the ball. It contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate and enhance the lips. In fact, Charlotte Tilbury says that with regular use your lips will appear larger over time.
I have so many lip balms in my collection but I have quickly fell in love with this one. I love the crystal ball applicator, which means it’s so easy to apply this product and it won’t leave your hands messy or melt on a hot day. It also leaves your lips looking shiny, making this the perfect summertime balm to add to your collection.
If you are looking for some new skincare products, I do recommend looking into these goodies from Charlotte Tilbury. I know I talk about skincare a lot on here, but coming from someone who has a million products, I find a lot of goodies that work for me and help with giving me younger-looking skin.
