Face refresh: Three new products to from Indeed

Skincare, skincare, skincare! Can you ever really get enough?

When the price tag is high? Probably then…

In 2021 you really don’t need to spend a fortune on skincare when there are so many brands out there offering amazing products and quality at a great price. One of these brands is Indeed Labs, which is an affordable brand you can find in drugstores and online. I’ve been using their products for years and love how they come out with natural alternatives to so many different skincare items that traditionally contain more scientific ingredients.

Anyways, I recently got in a few items from the brand over the summer when I was away in Montreal and since my skin is starting to change with the season I figured now would be a great time to dive in and talk about them.

Indeed Labs Gluconolactone 10%

Indeed Labs Gluconolactone 10% Exfoliating Toner

Looking for more glowing skin? Then pick up Indeed Labs new Gluconolactone 10% Exfoliating Toner (C$12.99).  This toner helps to brighten discolouration, clean out pores, hydrate and soothe skin.  It contains poly-hydroxy-acids (PHAs), including gluconolactane, which gently dissolves dead skin cells to give you a more glowing complexion.

This toner will not sting your face, making it perfect for those with sensitive skin.  It also helps to hydrate skin and deliver antioxidants, which helps with toning down inflammation. The formula also contains five per cent betaine, which works with the gluconolactone to restore moisture balance and protect from free-radical damage. In addition, the botanical extracts of lemon and sage calm and soothe skin.

This toner feels amazing on the skin and can be used both morning and night.

Indeed Skin Retinol Reface products

Indeed Labs Retinol Reface Skin Resurfacer & Wrinkle Repair

I have said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s very important to use a retinol product once you hit your mid-20s a couple times a week.  Now I’m not talking about the medical-grade retinol that you get from your pharmacist (unless you have major skin concerns), but rather one that you can find at the drugstore.

Indeed Labs has a number of retinol products and the Retinol Reface Skin Resurfacer & Wrinkle Repair (C$17.99) is a three-in-one formula that combines retinol, bakuchiol (a plant-based retinol alternative), and a retinol-like peptide to give you softer, smoother, and visibly younger-looking skin. The formula is also safe to use for all skin types.

So why should use retinol?  Well, I use it for its anti-aging benefits. Both retinol and bakuchiol are known to be really effective with aging concerns. Retinol products are designed to be used at night and this concentrated night cream quickly targets signs of aging by helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as minimizing redness. In addition, it also helps to enhance skin tone, hydration, elasticity, radiance, brightness, and firmness.

Retinol Reface Eye Cream

Pair the night cream with the Retinol Reface Eye Cream (C$22.99), which is a retinol formula that is gentle enough to use on the under-eye area.

Designed to help with signs of aging, this eye cream features a lightweight texture that helps with crow’s feet, dark circles, and wrinkles.  It contains retinol esters that work without any irritation, as well as ribose to rejuvenate tired-looking skin, and honey locust seed extract to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Although the formula packs a powerful punch, it is safe enough for all skin types and is designed to be used at night while you sleep.

I really love Indeed’s products and love when they come out with new releases. Best part is that in general, the line is very affordable so you can get amazing skincare without the high price tag. Their products are also cruelty-free, paraben free, and they are a Canadian company. All wins in my books!
