Dreamy hair: Three hair products from L’Oreal Paris you need to try

When I say the words “L’Oreal Paris” what do you think of?  I’m going to go in a limb here, but I bet it’s makeup.  The company actually started off in hair colour and patented a hair colour formula that was safe to use, as well as offered a wider range of colours.

We all know that L’Oreal Paris is a giant in the beauty industry and although they have come a long way since the hair colour days (which they still offer), they also have a wide range of haircare products.

I’ve used L’Oreal hair products a lot over the past few years (I’m currently using their Ever Pure blonde shampoo) and have already really loved the way their items make my hair look and feel.  The brand is constantly coming out with new products and if you are interested in trying out some innovative new items, then now is a great opportunity to do so.

L'Oreal Paris Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water and Heat Slayer

L’Oreal Paris Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water

When it comes to detangling hair, a conditioner is usually what I reach for, but sometimes I just need a little bit of extra help. That’s where the L’Oreal Paris Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water (C$12.99) comes in.

This product is a conditioning treatment that is designed to be left in your hair for eight seconds and rinses out to reveal smoother, shinier, and silkier hair. This is a rinse, meaning you apply it between your shampoo and conditioner in the shower and is great to use for long or damaged hair.

I love the idea of this product since sometimes I’ll go in with two different conditioners so my hair is softer and silkier.  Every hair product has a certain purpose but when it comes to conditioner, I like it to leave my hair soft and tangle free. That’s where this comes in since it detangles in only eight seconds and leaves hair five-times shiner and four-times smoother.

Okay, so I tried out this product for the first time yesterday and I can honestly say this stuff is a miracle worker.  It didn’t seem like it would be doing much when I first put it on, but as soon as the water hit it, my hair instantly felt so smooth and soft. I was truly surprised at how amazing this product is.

Although it is aimed at long hair, obviously any hair length can use it and I think it’s one of those products that are just really useful to have on hand.

L'Oreal Paris Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water and Heat Slayer

L’Oreal Paris Dream Lengths Heat Slayer Pre-Iron Spray

Another item in the Dream Lengths line is the Heat Slayer Pre-Iron Spray (C$8.99).  I use a lot of styling products but I’m trying to be more conscious of using a heat protectant before using any styling tools.

This spray is targeted for straighteners but can be used for any heat tool. If you are using a straightener, L’Oreal says that it will give you three-day sleek hair and overall will protect it for up to 230 degrees celsius. Spray this product before using a hot tool to protect your hair from heat damage, tame frizz, seal in shine, and fight humidity.

If you use hot tools on your hair, I recommend using a product like this. Best part about this one is that it’s very affordable, so it won’t break the bank to pick up.

L'Oreal Paris Colour Radiance Deep Purple Mask

L’Oreal Paris Colour Radiance Deep Purple Mask

Since I have blonde highlights, I always try to use a blonde shampoo at least once a week.  I also love to throw in a deep-conditioning mask every once in a while, so when you combine the two it’s a match made in heaven.

The L’Oreal Paris Colour Radiance Deep Purple Mask (C$8.99) nourishes hair and neutralizes brassy tones in just one use. Apply this mask to shampooed hair and leave on for three to five minutes to help bring back vibrant colour to blondes.  Blonde hair naturally becomes brassy over time and applying a purple mask to your hair once a week will help neutralize blonde and make it more vibrant.

This mask is tinted with purple toners and a UV filter to condition colour-treated hair, leaving it more brighter and also making it feel more smoother, softer, and sleeker.

I have a few different purple masks, but again, with L’Oreal Paris, since this is a drugstore brand, the prices are amazing and the quality of the products is top notch.

L’Oreal Paris has a few other new haircare products this season but I really love these three since they all are concerns that I face when it comes to haircare for me personally. I’m always on the hunt for products that make my blonde more smoother, sleeker, and healthier, and these all are great for accomplishing that.

Have you tried any of these new products from L’Oreal Paris?

Please note, products sent by PR. All opinions are my honest own.
