Mary Kay dry feet socks and cream and lip liners

Mint Bliss Energizing Lotion for Feet & Legs and Holiday Socks

I don’t know about you, but my feet lately have been so dry and scaly. Last time I went for a pedicure I swore to myself that I would put lotion on my feet every night before bed. For the most part, I’ve actually kept at it, but if you have a friend that totally has dry feet too, then take a look at the Mint Bliss Energizing Lotion for Feet & Legs and the Holiday Socks (C$16).

The socks actually come free when you purchase the Mint Bliss Energizing Lotion this holiday season, which is targeted to help tired feet and legs. Apply this lotion to the feet and then slip on the socks for nourishing treatment.  The formula has a refreshing cooling mint feeling, which is so soothing after a long day on your toes.

Be Delighted Body Mousse

Housed in a special-edition holiday packaging, the Be Delighted Body Mousse (C$18) is a whipped body mousse that smells like candy and just melts into the skin. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser since the packaging is so cute and festive and it’s such a treat to apply to the skin.

Mary Kay Travel-Sized Perfumes

Pair the body mousse with one of the brand’s perfumes, housed in a travel-friendly vial (C$25 each). Available in three different scents, each vial is perfect to carry around in your bag for a quick pick me up throughout the day.

Cityscape: This perfume is inspired by the world’s most glamorous and sophisticated city landscapes and contains top notes of bergamot, apricot, and violet leaves; middle notes of Phantom orchid ScentTREK, and peony; and bottom notes of sandalwood, angelica, and amber.

Live Fearlessly: This energizing fragrance will give you a burst of confidence and contains top notes of Italian bergamot and ginger lush petals; middle notes of bold rose, lily of the valley, and orchid; and base notes of roasted tonic bean, cedar wood, Australian sandalwood, and vanilla musk.

Forever Diamonds: This perfume is perfect for the holidays since it’ll make you feel like a star. Top notes include sparkling golden peach, jasmine petals, and diamond orchid; middle notes are tuberose absolute, heliotrope, and apricot; and base notes are creamy vanilla bean and white amber.

Cityscape Silkening Dry Oil

Pair the Cityscape travel-sized perfume with their new Silkening Dry Oil (C$24) for the ultimate bath in fragrance.

This lightweight, quick-absorbing oil is the perfect addition to your holiday fragrance routine since it quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving a slight sheen and a wash of fragrance.

Mary Kay Cosmetics Mad About Masking set and mask brush

Mad About Masking Set and Silicone Mask Brush

For the skincare fanatic, the Mad About Masking Set (C$30) makes the perfect gift.

This collection contains four facial masks that come in little pods, meaning that you can gift this as is or split up amongst friends. Included in the set are the following masks:

  • Miss Pore-fect: A mask containing clay to leave the face looking matte and shine free.
  • Energy Queen: An uplifting mud mask that features Japanese green tea extract to boost your mood.
  • Lady Serenity: A soothing cream mask with aloe vera extra and provitamin B5 (panthenol).
  • Dewy Gal: A glowing, moisturizing mask, perfect for before a night out.  This mask contains hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and vitamin E.

Pair the mask collection with the brand’s Silicone Mask Brush (C$15), which gives you a mess-free mask application and less waste.  I love these brushes since it makes applying a clay or cream mask so much more hygienic and you’re not left with messy fingers full of product you could have used.

Mary Kay Cosmetics Holiday collection 2019 lip liners and lip kits

Ultra Stay Lip Lacquer

Finally, on the beauty side of things, take a look at their new Ultra Stay Lip Lacquers (C$47 each). This lip kit, available in three shades (Rose, Plum, and Cherry), contains a three-step system that delivers colour that does not budge… until you use the included remover to get it off at the end of the night.

These lip kits are unlike anything else I have ever seen.  First you apply the colour and wait for it to completely dry before applying the lip lacquer sealer, which adds some shine and a moisturized wear.  Now usually when you add a gloss of some sort over a matte liquid lipstick and then drink a cup of coffee, for example, you’ll get some transfer since the gloss breaks down the colour a bit.  These will not budge at all, which you’ll also notice on the applicator itself.  There was zero colour transfer on the white doe-foot brush, which is incredible.

At the end of the night when you want to get it off, use the lip lacquer remover and a tissue to wipe it all away.

Like I said, these are definitely very cool, and I will note that the colour itself has a very unique formula.  It is very tacky when you first apply it, so I have to chill for awhile with my mouth open since otherwise it will get all patchy.  Mary Kay says that one coat is all you need, but since these are all bold colours, I did find I had to apply a few coats to make it opaque since the formula is very watery. I also want to note that it also smells similar to nail polish remover, so I’m not quite sure what is in the formula. Regardless, it’s a very cool product.

Pair the lip kit with the corresponding Lip Liner (C$16), which are available in a variety of different shades. These are a retractable pencil and just glides on your lips thanks to the creamy, soft formula.  I was actually really impressed with these and even if you aren’t picking up one of the lip kits, I would definitely look into getting one of the lip liners anyways.

There are so many awesome items from Mary Kay Cosmetics for the holidays this season.  Since the brand is available through dedicated sales reps, make sure you get your orders in early so they arrive by the holidays.

Is anything from Mary Kay on your wish list this year?
