Clean hair: Haircare products that are new & noteworthy

I have so many hair products.

When it comes down to it though, is there really such a thing as too many hair products? Okay, yes, I know, there totally is.

Every time I wash my hair, I use at least four to five styling products. My ride or dies are a split-end tamer and some sort of serum, but typically I will use a few different serums, one for shine and sleekness and another for blonding, and then depending on what I’m planning on doing with my hair after I wash it, I will add in a few other products, and then of course after it’s styled, I’ll use a few other products as well.

As you can tell, I love styling products and anything hair related, so I absolutely love when I get in new goodies to try.  If you are looking for some great new products to try out for your hair this fall, then keep reading.

Joico Blonde Life products

Joico Blonde Life Violet Shampoo & Conditioner

Since I have blonde hair, it’s very important to use a purple shampoo once or twice a week to keep my blonde from getting brassy.

I actually use Joico Violet Endure shampoo, but when the brand sent me their new Blonde Life Violet Shampoo and Conditioner, I was so excited to give it a try since I have used the original Blonde Life formula and it makes total sense that there is now a purple version in the collection.

The Joico Blonde Life Violet Shampoo (C$21.63) is a brass-neutralizing purple shampoo that is sulphate free (making it great for extensions) and instantly gets rid of yellow tones in the hair so your blonde doesn’t look tarnished at all.

This shampoo reminds me of their Violet Endure one and I’m so happy that they released a purple shampoo in the Blonde Life line. Make sure you pair the shampoo with the Blonde Life Violet Conditioner (C$23.30), which is a lilac-coloured conditioner that nourishes and products the hair and leaves you with smooth and silky hair.

Kerastase blonde styling product

Kerastase Cicaplasme Heat Protector for Blonde Hair

Now that your blonde hair is nice and clean, grab the Kerastase Cicaplasme Heat Protector (C$49) for blondes to keep it protected as you style it.

This serum can actually be applied to either wet or dry hair and contains violet-correcting pigments that acts as a hair treatment to tame frizz and seal split ends.  The formula contains hyaluronic acid and Edelweiss flower to smooth and tame hair and also has UV filters to protect against daily oxidation and pollution deposits.

Finally, since this is a heat protectant, it will protect the hair up to 230°C.

Kerastase Length Caring Gel Cream

Kerastase Resistance Extentioniste Thermique

Another Kerastase product that is great for your haircare routine is the Kerastase Resistance  Length Strengthening Blow-Dry Primer (C$49).  This lightweight heat-protecting primer is also great for your blonde hair and is perfect for straight, wavy, curly, and oily hair of all textures.

This lightweight serum is perfect for combatting dryness, damage/split ends/breakage, and heat protection. The formula contains hyaluronic acid to fill and strengthen fibre damage and resurfaces the cuticle.  It also contains edelweiss flower to protect against daily damage and soften and calms the hair. This product also protects hair from the heat up to 450°F.

Flow haircare styling products

Flow Haircare styling products

About a month or so back I got a bunch of styling products from a haircare line I hadn’t heard of before.

Flow Haircare is a line that is committed to the environment and manufactures their products sustainably. Their products are produced in their own LEED Silver Certified facility meaning that their products are made with minimal impact to the environment, as well as with the use of cleaner ingredients.

I received a bunch of styling products from the brand, including the InstantINTENSITY 30 Second Treatment (C$25), which is a weekly conditioning mask that helps to replenish moisture, repair damage areas, and restore strength to the hair.

Another star product is the RadiantARMOR Heat Protect Spray (C$22), which is a heat protecting spray that will provide luminous shine and body to the hair, as well as protect it against hot tools. I also love the Root Reboot Texture & Root Refresher Spray (C$23) which is a lightweight, multi-functional root spray that helps add volume and texture to the roots for sky-high styles.  The formula is clear (yay for no white residue) and the formula also doubles as a dry shampoo to keep your style fresh for days to come.

When it comes to hair, there are so many products out there to give you the hair of your dreams and make it look like you came right out of the salon.

Please note, products provided by PR. All opinions are my own.
