You guys know how much I love Esqido lashes. So when I heard they launched eyeliners, I had no doubt that they would also be amazing.
Brand-new to the brand (and the first cosmetic item aside from false lashes), these gel eyeliners are waterproof, ultra-smooth, and highly pigmented. Available in two shades, black and brown, this liner is a retractable eyeliner that comes with a sharpener on the other end.
The brand sent me both colours and I couldn’t wait to start playing around with them. Since I love brown for blue eyes like myself, I instantly tore open the brown one and put it to work. The liners are housed in a beautiful white packaging with foiled rose gold detail. It also has a silicon ring closure so you don’t run the risk of the liner opening and marking up other items in your makeup bag.
I did find that the product glided on my lids easily and left me with pigmented colour, which believe it or not, is usually hit or miss. These were incredibly creamy and easy to use. They draw on in one go and settle matte. I did find, however, that you should use an eyeshadow primer, as the brown did fade on me by the end of the day.
Overall, I think these are great liners. I am more of a liquid eyeliner fan, but for a pencil, these definitely do the trick. Pencils can have the tendency to apply too faint or chalky, but these went on very pigmented. I also really like the sharpener on the other end, so you don’t have to lug around an extra one.
The only thing I didn’t like was although I really love the white packaging on the pencil itself, it does have the tendency to stain and i couldn’t quite the colour off, so be careful when you’re putting the lid on.
If you are interested in picking up these liners (cause who doesn’t need a good eyeliner?!), Esqido actually has these on promotion at the moment since they are brand-spanking new. Grab one for $10 (regular $16), plus get an extra 20% off with code ShaynaW (you can use this code for any order on Esqido’s site.
Let me know if you give them a try. These are on for a great price considering the quality, and while you’re at it, might as well order some new falsies as well ;).
What’s your favourite eyeliner brand?
Please note, I was sent these products from PR. All opinions are my own.
