Pretty pout: Rimmel London x Kate Moss nude lipstick collection

Kate Moss title

I feel like the words “Kate Moss” and “nude” go hand in hand.  So naturally, it came as no surprise to me that the famous British model released her own line of nude lipsticks as part of her collaboration with Rimmel London.

Launched this month for a SRP of C$7.99, this five product collection (four shades and one balm) is the perfect addition to the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Collection (I mean, everyone is coming out with a nude line). In case you’ve never tried Lasting Finish, these lipsticks are super-moistuzing that pack on colour and smell delish.

Lipsticks

Unlike other nude lines that I’ve tried from other brands, I do find all four colours to be very flattering on my pale skin tone.  Often, brands will throw in a dark, vampy shade, suitable for darker skin tones, but it seems like they want to keep things on the lighter side, no matter the shade of your skin.

The colours include:

  • 40 – a pale nude
  • 42 – an apricot nude
  • 43 – a tan nude
  • 45 – a rose nude

40 42 43 45

Since hydrated lips are a must for wearing any nude lipstick, they also released a lip conditioning balm (the one in the white tube), which has key ingredients of castor oil and pomegranate extract. The balm provides immediate relief from that dry feeling, helps prevent lips against cracking and chapping, and gives them a nice glow. Best of all, since the product is housed in the cute Lasting Finish casing, this guy looks so cute on any desktop or purse (who would think it’s actually a balm?!).

Overall, I am really impressed with this collection.  I have some other Lasting Finish colours and have always loved the consistency of them (in fact, I find Rimmel’s lipsticks to be some of the most moisturizing lipsticks in my collection in general), so I was so excited to try out the nude collection.  I also love the fact that all the colours are really flattering, which is great for me since I’m so light. If you are darker, I would say err on the side of caution if you don’t being too light.

Have you tried Rimmel London’s new Kate Moss Nude line?

Please note, I was sent this product from PR. All opinions are my own.
