What I’m bringing to EDC Las Vegas 2015

EDC TITLE Greetings from Vegas!

So tonight marks the first night of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas and it’s my first time attending.  I’m not really a festival girl, but EDC LV has been on my bucket list for years so I’m so excited to party dusk til dawn tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday.

Although I’m pretty conservative when it comes to raver fashion, this trip is a huge YOLO adventure.  I mean, when else will I possibly get to wear a bedazzled bra and a neon green tutu?

Fashion aside, I did tons of brainstorming when it came to packing the beauty products for this weekend. From metallic tattoos to leg spray, here’s what I packed for EDC Las Vegas.

flash tattos and hair Flash tattoos open Sephora Collection Shine Beautifully Metallic Gold Temporary Tattoos (C$13) are a no-brainer.  You can pick up flash tattoos pretty much anywhere nowadays (I got some for $3 at Wal-Mart and my friends got some for a dollar at Dollarama), but these Sephora ones are so cute and offer up 17 different designs to really customize your look.

For hair, I’m packing a couple curling irons, but also threw in my bag the Sephora Collection Art of Braid kit, which includes hair ribbons, colourful bobby pins, and a step-by-step book to create numerous styles of braids.

liner and lashes open liner

Since it’s all about colour, I made sure to bring some colourful eyeliners, like Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Peridot (C$30), which is a sage green shimmer.  This particular product can be used as a liner or as a gel shadow and has intense colour payoff.

For liquid, I had to throw in a blue, so I brought along Kat Von D Ink Liner in Nerdrum (sea blue) and Dali (teal), C$23 each.

Obviously lashes are a must, so I packed a couple packs of the Kiss EZ Lashes.

Shadows lips and nails

For the eyes, I brought some colourful shadows, as well as glitters.  I love Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow in Kitten (C$42) and Make Up For Ever glitter.

For the lips, you guys know I love my nude lips, but I also brought along the Sephora Collection Lustre Matte Long-Wear Lip Colour in Orchid Luster (C$20), which stays on the lips forever (which is great because I don’t believe you are allowed to bring in open lip products), and it’s the most gorgeous fuchsia colour.

For the nails, I went with imPRESS Press-On accent nails, which are coral and feature a chevron accent.

sprays

Finally, since the makeup needs to last dusk ’til dawn, Skindinavia Makeup Setting Spray is a must.  And, since the clothes will be at a minimum (have you seen the EDC fashion), Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is a must.

To wash it all off at 8 a.m., I also brought along the Sephora Collection Ultimate Warming Cleanser (C$22), which has a honey-like texture that warms up and heats off your makeup.

As for fashion, DIY raver bras, neon tuts, fanny packs, and one-pieces are going to be rocked all weekend. Oh, and lots of kandi ;).
