XX-treme lashes: Rimmel London ScandalEyes XX-treme Volume & Length mascara
A couple weeks ago I got a mystery envelope in the mail, which I knew had something to do with Rimmel London since they printed my name in their signature font. Hardly being able to contain my excitement, I ripped the envelope open to find their new mascara, ScandalEyes XX-treme Volume & Length.
New to the ScandalEyes family, which is usually hit or miss with me, this guy has a dual-action brush that captures lashes stretching them to their max. The arched side volumizes and loads up lashes for XX-Treme look, and the flat side defines and lengthens lashes from root to tip. No clumps.
No doubt I knew it was going to be love when I opened this mascara up. All I had to do was take one look at the brush and I could tell that this mascara was going to work for me.
And it did. For a drugstore mascara, this one really does add volume and length. I don’t usually follow the “instructions” on how to use the brush (flat side for length and round for volume), but instead find that a couple coats just does my lashes wonders on its own. Also, it doesn’t leave my lashes feeling super stiff, they have that natural mascara softness to them.
I’ve my fair share of Rimmel ScandalEyes mascaras (I don’t even know how many there are now), but this one is definitely my favourite from the bunch. If you see it in your local drugstore (it launched this month I believe), pick it up, you have to give it a try.
