Refresh your look: Spring inspiration from Walmart Canada

New title

If you know me well, you’ll know I’m a huge Walmart person.  I swear, every Sunday my brother and I go for lunch and then hit up the store for our weekly grocery shopping.  Usually once we’re done in the food department, I head to cosmetics and he goes to electronics before meeting at the front to check out.

With that being said, I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when Walmart Canada got in touch to talk about their spring lookbook and how to incorporate the trends into inspiration for spring.  Since the fashion department is right beside the food department I occasionally peek in to see what they have, but when I received a $100 gift card to refresh my look, I fully realized how on-trend and affordable their items are.  Seriously, I picked up so many cute things for just under $100.

I recommend you take a peek at the lookbook for some inspiration of your own; I was totally digging so many themes, which is what I kept in my mind when I went shopping.

Can we just talk about the people larping in the background real quick?

How to make an impact… Island-inspired brights are super on-trend this season, so I paired this neon mint green racerback crop top with a high-waisted long black skirt, this fringe floral kimono, and black flats to play into the trend but jazz it up a bit.  I like this outfit because I you can dress it up or down.  Swap out the kimono for the cardigan from the other outfit and you have a whole different look.

G21 Green racerback crop top – $5
G21 Black knit skirt – $7
G21 Fringe Kimono – $15

G21 Gabby flats – $9 (reg. $15)
G21 Reflective Aviator sunglasses – $9

Blues close up

How to chase the blues… Blue is totally on trend this season, so I rocked this cool hue along my lower lash line and on my nails to jazz things up.

New York Color City Proof 24Hr Waterproof Eyeshadow in River Romance – $3.47
Hard Candy Top Ten Eyeshadow in Feelin Blue – $5.98
Essie nail polish in Garden Variety – $7.96
Hard Candy Ginormous mascara in Electric Blue – $5.98

Make sure you stop by your local Walmart Canada store for directional “how to ” signage to help guide you in freshening up your spring wardrobe.  Also, don’t forget to flip through the spring lookbook, in store or online.

What trends will you be rocking this spring?
