I just can’t even with Benefit’s new booster blush.

Being released in September, Majorette is something new from one of my favourite brands, Benefit Cosmetics.  Billed as a “booster blush”, this product is a cream-to-powder formula that instantly cheers cheeks up. You can apply the product with your finger or a brush directly onto cheeks for a natural flush, or you can layer it under one of their famed Box O’Powders for extra pep and staying power.

I basically squealed with excitement as soon as I opened this bad boy because the packaging is so freaking cute (in true Benefit form).  Open up the round compact to discover the pinky-peach shade that has a sun embossed into the product.  Oh, and let’s not forget the scent.  The stuff smells like peach and pomegranate. I die.

Benefit does say you can apply this with your fingers, but I’ve been using the same brush I apply my cream blushes with — a Sephora angled blush brush that lets me just dab the bristles onto the product and then softly apply this on my cheeks.  I’ve been super into corals lately, so this stuff could not have come at a better time.  Basically, I’ve been wearing this everyday since I got it.  All my other blushes have been jealous.

Check out your local Sephora to swatch this yourself.  It’s retailing for C$36, but be warned, as soon as you see it with your own eyes, you may be finding yourself instantly gravitating towards the checkouts… product in hand of course.
