Summertime staples with Yves Rocher

Title

You know it’s summertime when you are using fruity-flavoured body washes.

I feel like every season has its own scent.  Fall and winter is musky, and spring and summer is fruity and fresh. I’ve tried a variety of different body washes from Yves Rocher and if there is one thing they got down-pat, it’s scents.  Their cocoa collection from holidays 2013 was to. die. for. and they knocked it out of the ballpark again with their exfoliating shower gel.

Available in an organic raspberry flavour, as well as blackberry and organic vanilla, the Exfoliating Shower Gel is a gentle scrub with 100 per cent natural fruit seeds.  Yes, you read that right, real fruit seeds.  It’s like you are bathing yourself in raspberry jam.  Yves Rocher combined raspberries with kiwi seeds and apricot kernel powder, which are known for their exfoliating properties, and released this innovative body wash (C$9), which is paraben-free and pH balanced for skin.

To round off the skin routine, apply a moisturizer right out of the shower for supple, smooth skin.  I typically don’t apply moisturizers in the morning because I feel they are too greasy.  Enter Yves Rocher’s Beautifying Dry Oil, which you spray directly on your skin to nourish.  Best of all, this stuff doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. The product is made from 99 per cent natural ingredients and contains no preservatives, no parabens, no mineral oil, and no animal extracts.  Honestly, I’ve completely ditched my cream moisturizers and have reached for this stuff ever since I got it.  It also leaves a nice sheen on the legs, which gives you Victoria’s Secret model-esque gams. I mean, what else could you possibly ask for from a moisturizer?

Have you tried Yves Rocher’s new summer products?  What’s your favourite type of moisturizer?

Note, this post contains products sent by PR. As always, all opinions are my own.
