Confetti Nails: OPI Rainbow Connection

So a couple of weeks ago I stopped by a local hair salon here and saw OPI’s Muppets holiday collection and was floored when I saw the colour Rainbow Connection.

This colour is basically an exact dupe for Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects strips in Frock Star (which I rocked in Vegas) or Deborah Lippmann’s Happy Birthday (which I have been wanting ever since I saw it, but for the $20 plus price tag I’m a bit hesitant).

This colour is very sheer but buildable.  It is made up of small and large rainbow glitter. You can rock it over other colours or layer it to create full coverage.

One coat

Two coats

Three coats

Four coats

As you can see you can wear it sheer or build it up for hands full of confetti.

Kudos to OPI for releasing such an awesome colour!  Now I won’t have to splurge for the Deborah Lippmann one.

What do you think of OPI’s Rainbow Connection?  Love it?  Hate it?  Leave your thoughts below.

When I first saw Rainbow Connection, I was in love! I did wear the color alone, and I’m not sure about it. I also wore the color over SInfulColors, Daddy’s Girl on my ring finger. I really liked Rainbow Connection over another color as opposed to alone.
